Kingdom University alumni Latifa Al Thani led a workshop focused on creating accessible parking spaces for handicapped individuals, in collaboration with the KU Student Council.

Al Thani, whose business Sahel Ramps originated as her university graduation project, identified a significant gap in accessibility solutions for handicapped individuals. During the workshop, she shared her expertise on inclusive design, emphasizing the importance of thoughtful planning to enhance accessibility. Students engaged in hands-on activities, learning to brainstorm and design effective parking layouts.

This initiative reflects Kingdom Universityโ€™s commitment to social responsibility and inclusivity, preparing students for real-world challenges.
