Kingdom University, represented by the Scientific Research Council, organized its 9th Annual Scientific Research Forum. The event served as an interactive platform for faculty members to discuss research strategies, review key achievements, and outline priorities for the upcoming phase.

The forum commenced with a welcoming speech by the University President, Professor Hassan bin Rafdan Al-Hajhoj, who praised the accomplishments of the faculty. He expressed his appreciation for their research efforts during 2025, which resulted in 113 Scopus-indexed publicationsโ€”contributing significantly to the universityโ€™s advancement in global rankings. He also emphasized the importance of sustaining high-quality scientific publishing.

For his part, the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research delivered a comprehensive presentation on the development of research at the university, highlighting the importance of publishing in prestigious journals and noting the clear improvement in both the quantity and quality of research output. Additionally, Professor Saad Darwish gave a presentation on research ethics, emphasizing academic integrity, avoiding plagiarism, and promoting transparency and responsibility in conducting and publishing research.

The forum concluded with brief presentations from college deans on their key research achievements, followed by an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding researchers for their significant scientific contributions across various disciplines.
