Kingdom University honored its students who won third place globally in the Huawei ICT Competition 2025–2026, held in the People’s Republic of China. This recognition celebrates their global achievement in the innovation track, which reflects the excellence of the university’s students and their ability to compete in international arenas.
The President of Kingdom University, Professor Hassan bin Rafdan Al-Hajhoj, praised the students’ achievement, emphasizing that this victory embodies the quality of education provided by the university. He highlighted the institution’s commitment to nurturing innovation and scientific research skills among its students, enabling them to compete on a global scale.
Professor Al-Hajhoj stated: ‘We are proud of this achievement, which adds to Kingdom University’s record of accomplishments. It reflects the outstanding level of our students and underscores the university’s success in preparing qualified individuals equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to keep pace with rapid developments in technology and artificial intelligence.’
He added that the university will continue to support creative students and encourage them to participate in international competitions. This stems from its belief in the importance of providing an educational environment that stimulates creativity and innovation, thereby contributing to preparing a generation capable of driving development and representing the Kingdom of Bahrain honorably in regional and global forums.
