The Artificial Intelligence Research Center at Kingdom University organized a specialized scientific forum via video conferencing. During the event, a distinguished group of academics and researchers discussed several working papers highlighting the latest smart applications and digital transformations in various business environments.
The forum witnessed broad participation and a distinguished presence of interested parties and specialists from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and several other nations. The number of participants exceeded 200, including academics, researchers, professionals, and students interested in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
In a statement on this occasion, Professor Hassan bin Rafdan Al-Hajhoj, President of Kingdom University, emphasized that the forum embodies the university’s keenness to support scientific research and innovation, and to enhance knowledge exchange in modern technical fields. He pointed out the importance of employing artificial intelligence in developing the business sector and preparing competencies capable of keeping pace with future requirements.
For his part, Professor Nader Al-Bastaki, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research, explained that artificial intelligence has become a pivotal element in developing business environments and raising their efficiency. He asserted that Kingdom University continues to support scientific and research initiatives that contribute to providing innovative digital solutions serving the economic and development sectors in the region.
The working papers presented during the sessions addressed a package of vital axes and contemporary topics, foremost of which was the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing cybersecurity systems, digital currency management, and smart finance solutions. Participants also reviewed concepts of digital leadership through artificial intelligence applications in the areas of human resource management and stock trading, alongside practical and innovative models for employing these technologies in the health and commercial sectors.
The organization of this forum comes within the framework of Kingdom University’s keenness to keep pace with the global technological boom and to support applied scientific research that contributes to developing the business sector and bolstering the ecosystem.
