Kingdom University signed a joint memorandum of understanding with the Al-Marsad Society for Human Rights to spread the culture of national awareness in society, promoting human rights and consolidating the values of democracy and citizenship.
The Kingdom University was represented by Prof. Dr. Hassan bin Rafdan Al-Hajhoj, the President of the University, and Mr. Mohsen Ali Al-Ghurairy, Chairman of the Board of Directors represented the association. This agreement constitutes an opportunity to enhance cooperation between the two parties and exchange joint experiences in various fields.
The two parties agreed to provide several youth training programs to develop skills and promote economic, social and cultural rights to prepare specialized cadres in these fields.
For his part, Prof. D. Hassan Al-Hajhoj, Kingdom Univeristy President stated, "As an important part of Bahraini society, Kingdom University is constantly and diligently working to prepare national cadres that contribute to the nation's progress based on instilling values, promoting principles of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence, and ensuring the protection of human rights at all levels. The university has an important academic role, as it has worked to double its outputs from studies and research, to complete the march achieved by the Kingdom of remarkable progress in the field of human rights protection.
Al-Hajhoj also affirmed the university's readiness to start activating the memorandum of understanding with the Al-Marsad Association and strive to achieve the greatest means of cooperation in various fields that are of public interest.
