
Kingdom University and Bahrain Society of Engineers Building a Bridge of Cooperation Between Them
Kingdom University and the Bahrain Society of Engineers discussed expanding and strengthening areas of cooperation and partnership in the engineering sector and seeking to provide the labor market with qualified professionals.
This came at the meeting between the President of the Bahrain Society of Engineers, Dr. Raeda Al-Alawi, Professor Hassan Al-Hajhoj, President of the Kingdom University and Professor Nader Al-Bastaki, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research.
The two parties look forward to signing a memorandum of understanding through which the two parties will work to enhance areas of cooperation and partnership in research and development of educational outputs through cooperation in the field of joint training, cultural and research activities. The association provides support to KU in providing training opportunities for engineering students at the university and participating in local engineering events.
Prof. Al-Hajhoj praised the role of the Society in developing the profession of engineers in Bahrain in line with international standards and in cooperation with universities and the Kingdom University with its distinguished scientific cadres and expertise capable of pushing the wheel of cooperation forward and serving students and enhancing support for the Bahraini economy.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Saad Zanad, Head of the Community Engagement Unit at KU, Dr. Ashraf Suleiman, Dean of the College of Architecture and Interior Design at KU, and members of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Society of Engineers.
