Kingdom University hosted an awareness lecture organized by the National Cybersecurity Center for its students and faculty members. The session was delivered by Mr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Head of the Cyber Monitoring and Surveillance Division at the Center, who discussed major contemporary cyber risks and threats, along with the latest developments in the field of cybersecurity, and best practices for digital safety and protection.

The lecture highlighted the latest techniques used by cyber attackers, including electronic phishing and social engineering, emphasizing the importance of raising cybersecurity awareness among individuals and institutions to effectively face the growing challenges in cyberspace. It also addressed emerging technological trends related to artificial intelligence and their role in creating new types of cyber threats, underscoring the need to stay informed and adopt safe digital practices.

Kingdom University expressed its appreciation to the National Cybersecurity Center for organizing the lecture and for its initiative in promoting cybersecurity awareness within the academic community.
