His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Jumaa, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, inaugurated the Careers and Entrepreneurship Day exhibition under the slogan ” Create Your Future”, organized by Kingdom University, with the participation of a group of national and private companies and institutions in various economic and industrial sectors.
The exhibition witnessed a wide participation from leading institutions and companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain, including Bahrain Aluminum Company (Alba), Zain Bahrain, Asri Heavy Industries Company, Ministry of Youth Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Nasser Center for Research and Development in Artificial Intelligence, in addition to a few other institutions from the private sector.
The exhibition also included specialized workshops presented by local and international experts in entrepreneurship, strategies for success in the labor market, and building professional identity. These activities come as part of the university’s holistic vision that aims to prepare graduates who are not only qualified for work, but also ready to launch their own projects and create new opportunities in the market.
The exhibition was organized as part of the continuous efforts made by Kingdom University to prepare qualified graduates for the labor market, equipped with modern entrepreneurial and practical skills. The exhibition will witness the participation of more than 25 exhibitors from major government institutions and private companies, covering various fields including technology, finance, industry, and services, which reflects the institutional community’s confidence in the competence of KU graduates and the quality of their educational outputs.
Prof. Hassan bin Rafdan Al-Hajhouj, President of Kingdom University, expressed the university’s pride in organizing this professional event, saying: “At Kingdom University, we are committed to providing an integrated learning environment that is not limited to academic aspects only, but also extends to include career support and career counseling. The Careers Day Fair is a practical translation of this commitment, by providing real-world opportunities to connect with decision-makers at major institutions and enabling students to explore their career directions and make their decisions with confidence and awareness.”
