 the 7th International Legal Entrepreneurship Conference was held under the theme “Law and Artificial Intelligence – Towards an Advanced Legal Environment”. The event was attended by Mrs. Karima Mohammed Al-Abbasi, Secretary-General of the Shura Council, representing the Chairman of the Council.

This major event, recognized as the largest scientific and cultural gathering in the Middle East, brought together prominent legal and technology experts along with high-level delegations from Gulf and Arab countries. The conference was academically supported by Kingdom University, represented by its President, Prof. Hassan Al-Hajhoj, and Vice President, Prof. Nader Al-Bastaki.

Kingdom University’s College of Law actively contributed to the discussions with presentations including:

* Dr. Ahmed Rashad: “Civil Liability for the Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies”.

* Dr. Hiyam Al-Sahmawi: “Sharia Liability for the Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies”.

* Dr. Abdulbaset Al-Hakimi: “Criminal Liability for the Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies”.

The conference covered key topics such as AI technologies, legal challenges, and the implications of AI on legal responsibilities. It aimed to deepen understanding, analyze current legal frameworks, and propose new policies and legislation for a comprehensive and balanced regulatory environment for AI.
