Kingdom University organized a field trip for its international (non-Bahraini) students to the city of Muharraq as part of their participation in the Muharraq Nights events. The trip included a visit to the Pearling Path and aimed to provide students with an entertaining and cultural experience that enables them to explore the history and culture of the Kingdom of Bahrain, while strengthening their connection with the local community beyond the academic setting.
The trip saw the participation of students from various nationalities, clearly reflecting the cultural diversity embraced by Kingdom University, where international students constitute more than 20% of the total student population. This initiative comes as part of the university’s efforts to integrate international students into the university and wider community, and to create opportunities for cultural interaction and the exchange of experiences, thereby enriching their educational and human experience in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Through such initiatives, Kingdom University reaffirms its commitment to supporting and organizing purposeful activities and programs that serve international students, stemming from its belief in the importance of these events in enhancing the quality of university life, building bridges of cultural communication, and reinforcing the values of coexistence and openness. The university also strives to offer programs that complement the educational process, contribute to students’ personal development, and reflect its vision of providing an inclusive and supportive university environment for all members of its academic community.
