Kingdom University proudly offers the Master’s in Computer Science program, fully designed and delivered by the College of Information Technology. This program is structured to provide advanced knowledge, critical skills, and research opportunities in the rapidly evolving field of computer science. It is specifically tailored for graduates in computer science, information technology, engineering, and related disciplines who aspire to enhance their expertise and pursue specialized careers in academia, industry, or research-driven environments.

The program allows students to customize their learning experience by selecting one of the following specialized tracks:

  • Track 1: Artificial Intelligence – Focused on intelligent systems, machine learning, and emerging AI technologies.
  • Track 2: Cybersecurity – Concentrating on network security, data protection, and safeguarding digital infrastructures.

By combining rigorous coursework with research opportunities, the program equips graduates with the knowledge and skills required to excel in advanced technical roles and contribute to innovation in the field of computer science.

  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of the current methods and trends in the domain of artificial intelligence and/or cybersecurity.

Subject-Specific Skills

  • Use professional level skills to design, implement, and evaluate AI and/or cybersecurity computing-based solutions that can work in various platforms to meet desired needs within realistic constraints.
  • Demonstrate creativity or originality in analyzing a complex computing problem and apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions
  • Conduct research in the domains of AI and/or cybersecurity to solve real world problems.

Thinking skills

  • Critically analyze large computing problems by identifying the required computational resources and algorithms for solving them.
  • Undertake a critical evaluation in selecting the solution(s) of real-world problems using computing algorithms and applications

  • Professional Certifications or Short-Term Specialization: After a Master’s in CS specializing in AI, pursue certifications like the IBM Applied AI Professional Certificate or AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty for roles such as AI Engineer or Machine Learning Scientist. For a Cybersecurity track, options include the CISSP for leadership or CompTIA Security+ for entry-level roles like Cybersecurity Analyst, demonstrating expertise in network and data protection. 
  • Successful completion of 30 Credit Hours.
  • Achieve Cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above.
