Kingdom University has announced the opening of nominations for the 2025–2026 Student Council elections under a new nomination system designed to enhance inclusivity and ensure broader representation of the university’s diverse student body.
The new system allocates seats for multiple student categories, including non-Bahraini (international) students and female students under the “Women’s Empowerment” seat, as well as postgraduate students and high-achieving students. This initiative represents a significant step toward strengthening the principles of fairness and equality among all students.
The University affirmed that this update reflects its ongoing commitment to empowering women and supporting underrepresented student groups. The inclusion of non-Bahraini students aligns with the University’s multicultural environment, while the dedicated seat for women aims to enhance female students’ leadership and decision-making roles.
