His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, initiated the University Exhibition organized by the Alumni Club at its headquarters in Adliya, with the participation of 17 higher education institutions from within the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to centers and agencies representing several international universities.
The opening ceremony was attended by the President of Kingdom University, Prof. Hassan Al-Hajooj, who expressed his happiness to participate in this important event, saying: “Such exhibitions contribute significantly to expanding students’ horizons and providing them with the necessary information to choose their academic paths. At Kingdom University, we are committed to providing outstanding educational programs that meet the needs of students and help them achieve their career goals.”
His Excellency the Minister of Education affirmed the support of the Higher Education Council for such exhibitions, praising the efforts made by the Alumni Club in organizing them. He stated that the exhibition provides visitors with the opportunity to learn about the contents of the various academic programs and their suitability to their preferences and abilities.
In a related context, Mr. Abdullatif Ahmed Al-Zayani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Club, explained that organizing the exhibition comes within the club’s vision to enhance communication between students and educational institutions, which contributes to empowering them and directing them towards a successful academic and professional future.
The exhibition runs until Wednesday, October 23, and includes a range of accompanying events, including workshops and mentorship sessions on choosing the right academic major, in addition to scholarships provided by some of the participating universities to support students in achieving their educational goals.
