The Occupational Safety and Security Unit at Kingdom University organized a training course in first aid for several of its employees, as part of the university’s efforts to promote the culture of occupational safety and health and raise the level of readiness to deal with emergency cases on campus.

The course aimed to prepare a qualified team to deal with some emergency cases that may occur in the work environment, in addition to raising their awareness of the importance of first aid and its vital role in saving lives and reducing complications resulting from accidents or sudden health conditions, such as fainting, fractures, burns, bleeding, and suffocation.

The course included a theoretical and practical aspect, where participants learned about the foundations of the initial assessment of the patient, and how to provide immediate assistance safely and correctly until the arrival of the competent authorities.
