Kingdom University and the Gulf International Center explored opportunities for academic and professional cooperation during a meeting chaired by Kingdom University President, Professor Hassan bin Rafdan Al-Hajhoj. The meeting was attended by Vice President for Academic Affairs and Scientific Research, Professor Nader Al-Bastaki, Executive Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs, Ms. Zainab Al-Mahri, Dean of the College of Law, Professor Omar Al-Hadithi, heads of the College’s departments, and the Executive Director of the Gulf International Center, Mr. Mohammed Jassim Al-Thawadi.
The meeting reviewed preparations for the Sports Law Conference, scheduled to take place in the Arab Republic of Egypt on 3โ4 October 2026. The two sides agreed that Kingdom University will participate as an academic partner, with several faculty members from the College of Law presenting research papers specializing in sports law.
The two parties also agreed that an official university delegation, headed by the University President and including the Vice President and several specialists, will participate in the conference. They further agreed to launch a series of training courses and workshops beginning in September in the fields of law, law and technology, business administration and governance, and engineering and law, with the aim of promoting knowledge, enhancing professional awareness, and supporting professional development in these fields.
The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming their commitment to strengthening their collaboration and implementing the agreed initiatives and programs in support of their shared objectives.
