The Kingdom University, in collaboration with Municipal Council Member Mr. Mohammed Darraj, organized the “Kingdom Day” event in celebration of the glorious National Day and the anniversary of the Accession of His Majesty the King.
The event brought together members of the Kingdom University community in a warm, family-oriented, and patriotic atmosphere, featuring a variety of activities that reflected a strong sense of national pride and belonging. Dedicated sales spaces were allocated to support the commercial projects of the university’s students and alumni, as part of the university’s commitment to encouraging entrepreneurship and empowering youth.
The celebration also witnessed distinguished participation from a group of students from the College of Engineering and Design, who showcased unique works and creative pieces that embodied the spirit of patriotism and national identity.
The event included a range of cultural and entertainment segments, such as carnival games, theatrical competitions presented by media personality Bassam Ali, a musical performance by Mohammed Al-Marbati Band and Friends, in addition to performances by the traditional folk band, which added an authentic heritage touch to the celebration.
During the event, student Hamad Faisal was honored for being awarded the title of Best Player in the Gulf Basketball Championship, recognizing his outstanding achievements and excellence at the Gulf level.
The organization of this event reflects the University of the Kingdom’s commitment to actively participating in national occasions, strengthening values of loyalty and national identity, and supporting student talents and youth initiatives.
