KU recently held a series of first aid training sessions that were available to all staff members and students on campus. This was a significant step towards improving the safety of our university.
The extensive training educated participants on a broad variety of vital first aid methods, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), wound treatment, fracture management, and how to react to medical crises. Participants were instructed on how to evaluate the situation, administer treatment that is both quick and appropriate, and coordinate with emergency services to guarantee the most favorable result for the person who was impacted the most.
Following the successful conclusion of this training program, the community that makes up our institution is now better equipped to deal with unexpected events and to foster an atmosphere that is safer for everyone at the university. We would like to express our gratitude to our staff and students for the dedication and excitement that they have shown, and we are looking forward to providing further possibilities for training in the future.
