Kingdom University has added a new achievement to its academic journey by receiving the judgment of “Compliant with the General Framework Standards for Higher Education Institutional Reviews” from the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA). The achievement reflects the University’s progress in establishing an integrated quality system, enhancing its academic and administrative performance, and strengthening its institutional practices in line with the aspirations of higher education and the needs of the future.
Professor Hassan bin Rafdan Al-Hajhoj, President of Kingdom University, received the judgment certificate from Dr. Mariam Hassan Mustafa, Chief Executive of the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA), in the presence of Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al-Jahrami, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council, along with a number of officials and representatives from the Authority and the Secretariat General of the Higher Education Council.
The judgment comes at a stage in which Kingdom University continues to advance its educational and institutional framework, placing the quality of the university experience at the heart of its priorities. This includes developing academic programmes, strengthening teaching and learning practices, supporting research and innovation, enhancing services provided to students, investing in the educational and technological environment, and building partnerships that strengthen the University’s connection with the community and the labour market.
The “Compliant with the General Framework Standards” judgment reflects a range of practices that the University is working to embed across all levels of its operations, from governance, management and planning, through quality assurance and performance measurement, to teaching and learning, scientific research, student services and community engagement. These efforts support the University’s capacity for continuous improvement and its ability to respond to the rapidly evolving changes in the higher education sector.
On this occasion, Professor Hassan bin Rafdan Al-Hajhoj, President of Kingdom University, expressed his pride in this achievement, emphasizing that the value of the judgment for the University extends beyond receiving a certificate, as it reflects the level of progress achieved in the University’s quality practices and institutional performance.
