In a step towards enhancing academic and industrial cooperation, a delegation from Kingdom University visited the headquarters of the Telecommunications Company (STC). The visit aimed to discuss ways of cooperation between the two institutions and exchange experiences in various fields of common interest, especially in the field of information and communication technology.

During the visit, the visiting delegation held fruitful meetings with senior STC executives, where they reviewed the latest developments in the ICT sector, and exchanged ideas on future cooperation opportunities.

In a statement on this occasion, Prof. Hassan Al-Hajhooj, President of Kingdom University, stressed the importance of this visit in strengthening the partnership between the university and the private sector, and said: “This visit comes within the framework of the university’s constant endeavor to build bridges of cooperation with leading institutions in the private sector, with the aim of providing an integrated educational and research environment for our students, and qualifying them for the ever-changing labor market.”

Dr. Al-Hajhooj added: “We believe that the partnership between the university and the private sector is key to achieving sustainable development, and we look forward to achieving tangible results through this collaboration, which will benefit students and society at large.”
