Kingdom University announces its membership in the Oracle Academy program with the aim of enabling its students to benefit from the technology education content that the Academy provides free of charge to its members. Additionally, the learning content enables students to start on the pathway to obtain Oracle professional certifications and refine and enhance their career-ready knowledge and skills. This comes as part of the university’s commitment to meet the needs of the job market and keep up with modern developments and careers that require digital knowledge and skills.
Professor Hassan Al-Hajhouj, the university’s president, emphasized its commitment to graduating qualified educated professionals for the job market by integrating modern educational tools into its curricula, aligning with technological advancements in various practical fields. He pointed out that nurturing values of creativity and innovation in the educational sector in Bahrain is an urgent necessity to enhance scientific capabilities and activate the role of education in alignment with the expected outputs and demands of the job market.
Al-Hajhouj added that joining the Academy is an important step, especially for the Bachelor of Computer Science and Master of Computer Science programs within the Information Technology College. It is also important for the Master’s program in Digital Finance and Financial Technology, as it ensures that students enrolled in these programs obtain the required professional skills for the job market.
The university president explained that joining Oracle Academy allows students to start on the pathway with knowledge and skills to obtain professional certifications. It will also provide the university’s faculty with the necessary means to monitor and track students’ progress in various curriculum and electronic materials available through the Academy’s learning platform.
