In a move that enhances cooperation between the academic and private sectors and contributes to achieving human development goals in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom University and Origin Group signed a memorandum of understanding. The MoU aims to develop prospects for cooperation in the academic, research and training fields, with a special focus on qualifying graduates for the labor market through specialized training programs and obtaining professional certificates.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Hassan Al-Hajhooj, President of Kingdom University, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Bina, CEO of Origin Group.

Prof. Hassan Al-Hajhooj said: “We at Kingdom University are pleased to sign this MoU with Origin Group, a leader in training. This strategic partnership represents a qualitative leap in the university’s march towards achieving its goals in linking the educational process to the requirements of the labor market. We believe that continuous training and obtaining professional certificates are key to enabling our graduates to compete in the labor market and contribute to achieving Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030. Through this partnership, we seek to provide world-class internship opportunities for our students, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their careers.”

In a statement, Dr. Ahmed Al-banna said: “We at Origin Group emphasize the importance of partnering with leading academic institutions such as Kingdom University in building qualified national cadres. This MoU opens broad prospects for cooperation in several fields, including the development of specialized training programs designed to meet the needs of the labor market and contribute to solving the challenges facing different sectors. We are committed to providing students with practical training opportunities and enhancing their ability to obtain professional certificates that enhance their employability and professional development.”

By signing this MoU, Kingdom University and Origin Group open new avenues for cooperation, underscoring the commitment of both parties to the development of higher education in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
