Python is a versatile and widely-used programming language known for its simplicity and readability\, making it an excellent choice for beginners. Python is considered as the language of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. \nThroughout this course\, participants will learn the basics of Python syntax\, data types\, control flow\, functions\, file handling\, and object-oriented programming concepts. The course will cover both theoretical concepts and practical hands-on exercises to reinforce learning. \n  \nKey Topics Covered: \n\nIntroduction to Python: Understanding the basics of Python\, its history\, and its areas of application.\nVariables and Data Types: Declaring variables\, working with numbers\, strings\, lists\, tuples\, dictionaries\, and sets.\nControl Flow: Using conditional statements (if-else)\, loops (for and while)\, and logical operators.\nFunctions: Creating and using functions\, passing arguments\, and returning values.\nFile Handling: Reading from and writing to files\, manipulating file data.\nException Handling: Handling errors and exceptions gracefully.\nObject-Oriented Programming (OOP): Introduction to OOP concepts such as classes\, objects\, inheritance\, and encapsulation.\nModules and Libraries: Exploring commonly used Python modules and libraries for extended functionality.\nProject Work: Collaboratively working on a Python project to apply the learned concepts and develop real-world programming skills.\n\n  \nLearning Outcomes: \n\nUnderstand the structure of a python program.\nGain the basic knowledge and experience to solve simple programming.\nproblems using python.\nUnderstand main backages in python such as NumPy and Pandas.\nRead files and visualize data.\n\n  \nTarget Audience: \n\nSecondary school students\, University students\, Individuals with no or little programming experience who want to learn Python for personal or professional development.\n\n  \nAssessment Types: \n\nAssignments\, projects and completion certificate.\n\n  \nCourse Details: \n\nDuration: 4 weeks (2 sessions per week)\, 2 hours per session.\nDelivery Format: In-person classes with hands-on exercises and projects.\nPrerequisites: No prior programming experience required.\nCourse Fee: BD 100 (includes course materials and resources)\n\nBy the end of this course\, participants will have gained a solid foundation in Python programming\, enabling them to write basic Python programs\, understand and modify existing Python code\, and embark on more advanced Python courses or projects. \nRegistration: To register for the Python Programming for Beginners course\, please click on the register link above. Limited seats are available\, so early registration is encouraged. \nFor more information\, please visit https://www.ku.edu.bh or contact Ms. Marwa Al Haji m.alhaji@ku.edu.bh\, 973-13302908.
