Mr. Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, signed a memorandum of understanding with Dr. Hassan bin Rafdan Al-Hajhouj, President of Kingdom University in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the fields of scientific research and its applications, and in preparing scientific and academic studies and research in various sciences and fields, which contribute to the renaissance and elevation of the Arab nation.  This came on the sidelines of the second session of the <\/span><\/p>\n

Arab Parliament of the fourth session of the third legislative term, which was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
\nThe memorandum of understanding provides for the establishment of joint seminars, training courses, workshops and exhibitions in the scientific and cultural fields in the Kingdom of Bahrain and in the Arab world, on the issues of the Arab world studied by the university, and providing them to the committees of the Arab Parliament and its affiliated mechanisms (the Arab Observatory for Human Rights – the Center for Arab Parliamentary Diplomacy – the Arab Center for Combating Terrorism and Extremist Ideology). <\/span><\/p>\n

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament expressed his appreciation for this important step, as Kingdom University is one of the leading universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain and has been providing high-quality education since 2001.
\nHe said that enhancing cooperation between the two sides according to an enlightened scientific methodology will provide a modern and conducive study environment for learning and development and will contribute to creating a global and unique educational experience, concerned with developing talents for the people of the Arab world. <\/span><\/p>\n

He added that this signing will provide an opportunity to enhance cooperation between the two sides, and support and develop the fields of scientific research to achieve the renaissance and elevation of the Arab nation, appreciating the contributions of Kingdom University in the fields of education and scientific research, noting that it is one of the prestigious institutions in the Arab world.<\/span><\/p>\n
