Kingdom University’s law programs obtained “Confidence” Classification
The Bachelor of Law program was offered first in 2005, and the total number of graduates since the establishment of the College until the date of this site visit is 99 graduates.
“We aim to occupy a distinguished place among the faculties of law and position ourselves to be the college of choice through providing selected academic courses that meet the current requirements in various legal fields locally, regionally and globally,” Professor Rashad said, emphasizing on the development of the provided programs periodically and undergoing a comprehensive review to update and raise its effectiveness in line with developments in the world.
Professor Ahmed Rashad, Dean of College of Law, said the College is keen to provide high-quality programs to ensure that the learning outputs are effective and qualify the students to succeed in their future career.
As per the QAAET’s report, the program demonstrates fitness for purposes in terms of mission, relevance, curriculum, pedagogy, intended learning outcomes and assessment. It highlighted the program’s efficiency in terms of the admitted students, the use of available resources – staffing, infrastructure and student support. Report also found the program’s graduates meeting academic standards compatible with equivalent programs in Bahrain, regionally and internationally.
He congratulated the University’s board of Trustees, departments, the College of Law and its academics and all the staff on the achievement, which reflect the University’s credibility and professional standing.
Professor AbdulGaffar proudly said the Authority’s report clearly stated the thoroughness and integrity of the College’s program, policies, admission criteria, program management and presentation through teaching staff who covered all the disciplines of law.
University’s President, Professor Yusuf AbdulGaffar stressed on the continuous review and evaluation of existing programs offered by the Kingdom University the University’s Quality Assurance Department, to maintain the quality within the international education standards.
According to the Authority’s recently published academic auditing report, the program achieved this high rate after satisfying the Qualification and Quality Assurance (QQA)’s four indicators, which are based on international quality standards measures.
